Louth's Elysium Beauty Salon wins national Clarins accolade

Rachael Nurrish-Walker and Elizabeth McCluskie, proprietors of Elysium Beauty Salon, of Louth, Lincolnshire have just been awarded the Clarins Gold Salon of the Year Award 2011 – one of the highest national accolades in the beauty salon business.

Speaking about the award Rachel explained “It’s testament to the hard work of our entire team, particularly our therapists who set us apart from competitors with the very highest standard of treatments and client care”,

Clarins introduced the concept of Gold Salons sixteen years ago.  As part of any relationship with a beauty salon, Clarins provides beauty products and trains its staff to advise on Clarins treatments and home care.  However, it recognised that some salons give an exemplary level of Clarins service and as such awarded them Gold Salon Status.

When judged against other leading Clarins Gold Salons, Elysium stood out for its exceptional standard of practical treatment,  for which an unprecedented 100% was awarded, a first for Clarins. Also assessed was level of professional advice and client care, salon ambience and overall business development. In recognition of this significant achievement, Robin Vincent the Managing Director of Clarins (UK) Ltd presented a cheque of £3,000 and Gold Salon trophy.

Elizabeth also spoke of her delight as she performed the treatment deemed worthy of  100% , commenting “ Of course I am delighted with the assessment but I felt I could have done even better!, to be named the best in the business really is such a compliment.”

There are currently 81 salons which have been awarded the highly-prized Clarins Gold Salon acknowledgement for outstanding performance, measured against the following criteria: standard of practical treatment, level of professional advice and client care, salon ambience and hygiene, level of quality and promotional activity and overall development of business.
